Main Street Medical Centre: Integrated Solution is Just What the Doctor Ordered!

Taking its duty of care towards patients and staff during the refurbishment of the medical centre, Main Street Medical Centre, Bridgeton wanted a solution provided from one partner to allow integration of vital systems.
During a major refurbishment, and an opportunity to introduce a new security system, Main Street Medical Centre, Bridgeton, looked to King Communications & Security Ltd to provide a solution that met the needs of the public and patients, the well-being of staff and the demands of a busy medical centre looking for a flexible and scaleable solution that would provide a future proof solution that could be integrated around their business and operational needs.
The solution provided consists of an integrated solution of IP CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry, Intruder Alarm, Panic Attack, Fire Alarm, Disabled Refuge and Disabled Toilet Alarm. The complete package of Security and Fire has equipped Main Street Medical Centre with the vital solution for a modern medical centre of any scale.

A particularly nice feature of this installation is the use of PoE (Power Over Ethernet) CCTV cameras that help to reduce power consumption within the practice.”
An IP CCTV system (utilising Milestone Systems Open Platform IP CCTV Software) was put forth which offered integration with the new Access Control system (Paxton Access) meaning that unauthorised or refused entries can be recorded for evidence collection. The centre is also utilising the latest technology on the market for an effective Intruder Alarm system by utilising the Galaxy Touch Centre, which also offers integration with the Staff Attack within the centre.
