Commercial and Industrial Buildings

All commercial properties require security and safety systems. In addition with increased legislation there is a requirement for Induction Loop and Disabled Toilet facilities.

Commercial security is now a must and will be imposed by many insurance companies. In most cases the higher level of security you have, the better standing and discount you will get from the Insurance company.

Monitored CCTV and Intruder Alarms have become not only affordable but also easier to implement for commercial property. A Monitored CCTV system can be employed to prevent damage to the exterior of a building by preventing anyone getting close to the structure. An Invisible perimeter can be established with and events triggered to the Remote Monitoring Centre when it is broken. From here they will have the ability to review the images and can also speak directly with the site using external PA systems over the Internet. They can advise any potential threat of the next course of action which could include calling the Police

Hotels

Hotels and catering need system to ensure smooth operation at all time and above all to ensure that the guest experience is of a high quality. We can help ensure that the guest is Secure, has appropriate communications and has access to any information they require.

The backbone of Hotel systems are the Communications which are based around the network. This will help provide the telephone system with Hotel management software, the data communications and also the Internet access for the hotel Guests. It has also become increasingly important in the provision of converged services running on a single network which can now include IP CCTV and also IP Hotel TV Systems.

These IP systems offer greater flexibility than their analogue predecessors and can be done without the additional overhead of separate networks.

In the safety and services side of Hotel systems there will always be a requirement for Access Control, Fire Alarms, Disabled Refuge, and Disabled Toilet Alarms.

We can provide all of these systems in a simple one stop package ensuring a high quality and safe experience for the guests

Residential Apartments

Most modern apartment buildings now come complete with infrastructure in place for TV Aerials and Data points throughout each of the apartments. In addition the main access points of the block are required to have Access Control for security and can in some cases have a communal Fire Alarm in the hallway areas.

In these types of buildings we have created Communal Aerial systems that can server terrestrial TV channels as well as Digital free view. More often now we are also being requested to install systems for Sky + throughout the building. This allows us to install a single Aerial and a Sky dish that can serve all the above channels as well as Sky plus to each apartment.

For Security we can provide Access control in either Video or Audio only forms. All are available in a Vandal resistant format. For the residents then can have either a Proximity reader or a keypad entry type. Proximity readers are now becoming very popular.

Nursing Homes & Care Facilities

Nursing homes have special requirements due to the nature of the residents. We have designed complete systems for care homes that includes the Nurse Call Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Data Networks, CCTV, Disabled Toilet Alarms, Telephone Systems and Disabled Refuge Systems.

During the design we advise the client of the many features that would be required and the placement of the Nursing system equipment. We also help design the safety systems such as the Fire Alarm and disabled Toilet. With the Internet becoming more prevalent we have also advised clients to install network cabling back to a central patch panel. This allows the installation of private telephone lines for the residents and also if required they would be able to install Internet facilities to each room.
