Free IP CCTV demo for your company or Organization
King Communications has recently provided some informational seminars on IP CCTV for a variety of business, charities and local government. We are now opening this service up to other organisations that could not attend one of information days.
We can provide you with a demonatration of a Software based CCTV system utilising IP protocol eith on your premises or within ours in our very own demo room. We can also demonstrate the power of integration into other systems such as Access control and analytics software. In addition we can advise how to re-use any existing traditional analogue camerass or cabling to save money. We can then provide a future proof platform that will evolve and grow as new features are released.
To book a demo please use our standard contact form and state you would like a demonstration. One of our team will be in touch to arrange.
Here are some of the benefits of implmenting an Software approach to CCTV surveiliance.

Installing Cat 5 or 6 cabling is a fraction of the cost of Co-axial cable networks. In addition it is easier to work with the network architecture to limit cable runs by going to the local data cabinet rather than the length of the building to the 'Box of tricks' in order to connect the camera cable.
In addition IP cctv has the advantage to utilise POE technology which removes the need for power supplies at each camera.
Network Video systems can be constructed using a licensing model rather than based on the number of connections a box can take. This allows a system to be expanded slowly through time but without any hardware replacement. In addition moving to more advanced features can also be simplified with a software upgrade that will provide 100% trade-in value for the original solution.
By Utilising the advanced features will provide the operators of the system many advances over traditional systems including speed of data searching, movement of information such as PDA clients etc. It will also provide hard flexibility for the installation by using POE for cameras and cat 5 e cabling. It will now be possible to move or add a camera without the consideration of the power supply or long run of co-axial cable.
In large, multi-site installations, large savings can be realized with Network Video through the ability to not only view, but also record video and manage operations from anywhere. It is no longer necessary to duplicate staff, room and storage equipment at each location as would be the case with CCTV. Control with Network Video can be centralized at one location and recording/and or back-up can occur at any server around the world. This lack of duplication across many sites with Network Video, leads to easily identifiable staff and bricks and mortar savings.
Becoming a more relevant issue as the move to IP CCTV systems gathers pace. Low power consumption at the cameras has driven POE technology but with the addition of low power servers can provide a saving on the power consumption against a traditional solution with analogue cameras and DVR.
By utilising standard PC components and hardware provides the consumer the choice of manufacturer to supply storage and processing power. It also allows rapid scaling of additional items such as disk space as the system grows. You are not tied to a single vendor or propriety system.
Another issue that falls into this bucket is the export process of DVR manufacturers. Most have their own format and require reader software. IP CCTV circumvents this by exporting to a standard windows format in a secure time stamped file that is evidence ready.
